Nola Stucky’s deep commitment to the area’s visual culture has lead NS Ceramic to become involved with the restoration and improvement of a number of the city’s most beloved architectural treasures. Among these local landmarks where NS Ceramic has consulted on restoration and donated tile are the Santa Barbara Courthouse Hall of Records and the Spirit of the Ocean Fountain, Marjorie Luke Theater, Lobero Theater courtyard fountain, Franklin Elementary School, Roosevelt School, Peabody School Library, and the Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA) Building and Santa Barbara Junior High School. Nola also acts as advisor to the docents of Casa del Herrero and Lotusland on the important legacies of handmade art tiles.
Nola Stucky holds memberships in the Tile Heritage Foundation, National Association of Professional Women, Santa Barbara Chamber of Commerce, Better Business Bureau, Santa Barbara Historical Society, Santa Barbara Museum of Art and the Carpinteria Historical Society. She is also listed in the Heritage Registry of Who’s Who.
NS Ceramic takes pride in supporting many local non-profit organizations including the Santa Barbara Courthouse Legacy Foundation, CASA, CALM, Food Bank of Santa Barbara, Domestic Violence Solutions, Storyteller, Pearl Chase Society, Community Kitchens, Hospice of Santa Barbara, Wildlife Care Network, Santa Barbara Beautiful, Livingston Memorial VNA, Art from Scrap, and the I Madonnari Children’s Creative Art Project.
